Official rules
The published terms of a promotion: who may enter, how to enter free, the entry period, prize details, how a winner is selected, and who the sponsor is.
Official rules are the terms every entrant accepts and the document you rely on if the result is disputed. Publish them at a stable URL before the first entry, link them from every entry point, and leave them unchanged for the duration.
