About Dollar Fan Club
What is Dollar Fan Club?
Dollar Fan Club is a creator membership platform that helps fans support their favorite creators through affordable memberships, exclusive content, community experiences, and promotional giveaways. Creators publish a page, open memberships that start at $1 a month, and share content and community activity with the fans who join.
How is Dollar Fan Club different from social media platforms?
Social platforms are built for reach and discovery: an algorithm decides who sees a creator's work, and a follower count says nothing about who would actually support that creator. Dollar Fan Club is built for the relationship instead. Fans join a creator directly, creators reach their members on their own page rather than hoping for distribution, and support recurs each month until a fan cancels.
Who is Dollar Fan Club for?
It is for creators who want to build a community and recurring income from the audience they already have, and for fans who want a closer connection with the creators they follow. Creators get memberships, member-only posts, community activity, and reviewed giveaways in one place; fans get affordable access, exclusive content, and entries into their creators' giveaways while their membership is active.
Creator questions
How do creators make money on Dollar Fan Club?
Creators earn from memberships. A creator sets up a page, connects payouts through Stripe, and opens membership tiers starting at $1 a month. Fans who join are billed monthly until they cancel, so income recurs rather than depending on views, sponsorships, or one-off launches.
How much does a creator keep?
Creators keep 80% of membership revenue before Stripe processing fees. Dollar Fan Club takes a 20% platform fee. Payments run as direct charges to the creator's own connected Stripe account, so the creator is the merchant of record for their memberships.
Who can become a creator?
Any eligible adult with an account can set up a creator page. Setting one up is free, but memberships cannot open until payouts are connected through Stripe, which runs its own identity verification. Creator pages and giveaways are subject to our Terms of Service and content rules.
What types of content can creators share?
Creators publish posts for members: behind-the-scenes material, work in progress, early looks, updates, images, and community conversation. Uploaded images are screened for prohibited content, and adult content, harassment, spam, scams, and impersonation are not allowed anywhere on the platform.
Why would a creator use memberships instead of relying only on social media?
Social reach is rented and unpredictable; a membership is a direct relationship a creator owns. Memberships turn a share of an existing audience into recurring, plannable income, give a creator a direct channel to the people who chose to support them, and make it clear who the real community is rather than inferring it from view counts.
Fan questions
How do fan memberships work?
A fan finds a creator, joins a membership tier, and pays monthly through Stripe checkout. The membership unlocks that creator's member-only posts and community activity, and it renews automatically each month until the fan cancels. Cancelling stops future renewals, and access continues until the paid period ends.
What do fans receive from memberships?
Members get access to that creator's members-only posts and community activity, plus entries into that creator's promotional giveaways while the membership is active. What a specific creator offers is described on their own page.
How much do memberships cost?
Memberships start at $1 a month. Each creator sets the price of their own tiers, and the exact amount is shown before checkout and again on the checkout page. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes and currency conversion may change the total on your statement.
Can fans support multiple creators?
Yes. A fan can hold memberships with as many creators as they like, and each membership is billed and cancelled separately because each creator is the seller of their own membership.
Are giveaways required to join?
No. Giveaways are one feature of a membership, not the reason to join. Fans can hold a membership purely for the content and community, and fans who do not want to pay can still take part in a giveaway through its free, no-purchase-necessary entry method.
Giveaway questions
Giveaways are a community engagement feature on Dollar Fan Club, not the core product. The core product is the membership.
How do Dollar Fan Club giveaways work?
A creator creates a giveaway in the platform, and it is reviewed for compliance before it can appear publicly. Members receive entries while their membership is active, and anyone eligible can enter free through the no-purchase entry method. Entries are recorded, the winner is drawn automatically at the end of the entry period, and the claim and fulfillment steps are tracked in the platform.
Are giveaways free to enter?
Yes. Every giveaway on Dollar Fan Club publishes a free entry method that requires no purchase and carries the same chance of winning as an entry received through a membership.
Do giveaways require a purchase?
No purchase is necessary. A membership is a purchase of membership benefits, not the purchase of a giveaway entry, and buying a membership does not improve the odds of winning. Eligibility and entry mechanics for each promotion are governed by the official rules published on that giveaway page.
How are winners selected?
Winners are drawn by an automated, unbiased server-side process from the eligible entries received during the entry period, and the draw is recorded. Where a giveaway is open to Canadian residents, a winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question before a prize can be awarded. Each giveaway's official rules describe the method that applies to it.
Where can creators learn about giveaway rules?
The Learning Centre publishes plain-language, source-cited guides on giveaway law, free entry requirements, and what social platforms allow, alongside the platform-wide official rules. These guides are general educational information, not legal advice, and requirements vary by jurisdiction.
Account and platform questions
What countries does Dollar Fan Club support?
Dollar Fan Club serves creators and fans in the United States and Canada today. Giveaway eligibility can vary by region, and every giveaway page states the regions that giveaway is open to.
How do I create an account?
Sign up with your email address and choose whether you are joining as a fan or setting up as a creator. You must be at least 18 years old. Fans can join creators right away; creators complete a short profile and connect payouts through Stripe before memberships can open.
How do I cancel a membership?
Cancel at any time from the billing portal reachable from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future monthly charges; it does not reverse a charge that has already been made. Unless the law where you live requires otherwise, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
How does creator verification work?
Creator identity and payout verification is performed by Stripe as part of connecting a payout account, and a creator cannot receive membership payments until that is complete. Separately, every giveaway is reviewed for compliance before it can appear publicly.
How are payments handled?
All payments are processed by Stripe as direct charges to the creator's own connected Stripe account, which makes the creator the merchant of record for their memberships. Dollar Fan Club does not collect or store card numbers or bank credentials. Refunds, chargebacks, and failed payments are covered in the Refund & Billing Policy.
